Builds the rota for the week and deploys it. Do this after any change below.
Auto rebuilds from this Monday on weekdays and from next Monday at weekends — so anything you added, changed or deleted for this week is picked up. It is always safe: the run plans the rest of the year, and slots that already happened stay as recorded. Today's drop-off locks at 10:00 and pickup at 17:30; after that a change is a correction (Change the rota + correction password).
Agreed a set of changes with everyone? Enter them all here and publish in one go. Both covers a whole day (drop + pickup) in one row. The days you don't list stay exactly as published — they won't be reshuffled.

Save shuffle just records it — then use Regenerate & publish at the top. Save & regenerate now does both, rebuilding the same way as Auto (this week on weekdays, next week at weekends).
Past slots (earlier days, or today's drop-off after 10:00 / pickup after 17:30) are corrections: picking one asks for the separate correction password. Only that slot's record changes — whoever really drove is credited and later weeks rebalance. Up to 30 days back.
Someone drove a run in place of someone else and the rota wasn't changed at the time. This changes fairness only — never who's on the rota. For anything still to come, use Change the rota above instead.
Mutual swap? Add the return leg (optional — nets even when both legs are the same number of trips; Both = 2).
Person is away for a date range — unscheduled and auto-credited each week, so they never have to catch up. Fully neutral.
Normally people do this on their own tab in the sheet. Use this only for a late change the sheet missed.
A new person starts at parity (auto-credited, no catch-up); a removed person keeps their history but stops being scheduled.

Manual balance tweak for unusual cases — credits a person for a window. For a full sick/holiday absence, prefer Apply leave.
Blank is best: it credits them the average the others drove in From→To. Type a number only to override.
Copies production's inputs (pins, block/open, leave, exclusions, people) onto Preview, clearing anything left over from earlier testing. Do this before you try a change on Preview, so what you see is what Production will do.
The rota's own state (history, published plan, ledger) is re-seeded from production automatically on every Preview run — so that part can't drift. This button is only for the input files, which live per-lane.
